In June 2021 we are joining ROARR (see 2017 Venice to Monaco) once again to drive as near to the top of the world as we can.
In 2013 we reached Ushuaia on Tierra del Fuego at the very southern tip of South America. This was on the Cape Horn Rally and is the southernmost road in the world. When the opportunity to drive to North Cape or Nordkapp arose, well, we simply couldn’t refuse, could we?
The rally/tour starts in Tallinn, Estonia on 1st June. If you remember, Tallinn was the place where, after a few days rough running on the 2007 Peking to Paris I was finally able to identify and rectify the poor running on our Talbot. Because I was working on the car in a multi-storey car-park until well after midgnight, we didn’t get any opportunity to see this wonderful old medieval town so here’s a second chance to tick that box too.
